Cusser
I cannot recommend any - because since getting my spa in 1988 I haven't used one. I just hose off the filter, and change it out once or twice a decade. I think there are cleaning devices available to purchase, but I've never used any or even any brushes. Remember - ANY detergent will causing foaming issues until the end of time....
Couch67
I've been hosing out the filters like Cusser mentioned, and every 3 months or so have used vinegar diluted 50% in a pail just large enough to fit the filter in it, and let it soak overnight. I have a spare filter, so I swap them out when its ready to clean. To be honest I'm not sure if this does anything, except waste a lot of vinegar lol. ratchett
Instead of a chemical cleaning, I started using my 3D printing & design experience to try improve how I physically clean the filters. Took me a year of prototypes trying different things but I've finally designed something awesome and universal to turbocharge my filter cleaning. Two years of testing and I'm really happy with my design. I can't wait to share it with the community after I finish all the paperwork and such. 1
