Fiona UK
Hi, We’ve had a Chinese hot tub for 8 years and had a few odd problems but always sorted them. For example last year the circulation pump got very noisy so bought a new one (fitted by an electrician friend) and that solved that! But the tub had started to be very slow to heat up (and sometimes not at all or only to a certain temp) and I noticed that one of the flow type heaters had a light on (it’s has two). So after last summer we drained it and have just replaced the old (and very worn out) heater. It’s been filled, checked for air locks, etc etc but it’s not heating at all. I’ve always been able to figure these things out but it’s got me stumped. No error code either. Sounds like it’s running and trying to heat but not doing anything. Hopeful someone here will have some wise ideas or at least a way to figure out what the problem may be! Thank you in advance! Fiona
cranbiz
Sounds like a bad relay or something related to it on the main board. Post up pictures of the board, the wiring diagram usually found on the inside cover and of the equipment area.
