Roberson2012
I just moved into a rent house with a Tiger River spa. I ran the tub in various modes and heard the relay click on and off to indicate that the temp is ready. The ready light illuminated when set at a lower temp. The side cover was removed and the heater did not feel warm. It is a no fault heater and looks oem. This heater mod doesn’t appear to have the reset button. Any tips or suggestions are welcome. Thanks!
cranbiz
110v or 220V? Just because the relays click doesn't mean the relays are good. Test the hearer with a multimeter with the power wires off of it. Use the ohm's scale and see if the resistance is around 10-14 ohms. If it's not, the heater is bad. If the heater is good, test for voltage at the heater. When the tub is calling for heat, you should have 110V or 220V (depending on the input voltage) at the heater. If no voltage, the relays are bad.
