RobDDD Posted June 4, 2022 Report Share Posted June 4, 2022 I own an older CalSpa 05-S707-45 with dual 2 speed pumps. I noticed there is small diameter rubber tubing connected to a hose barb with a ring clamp below the main inlet/outlet from the pump on each pump. When filling today prior to even starting the unit I noticed a leak coming from each of those locations. It seems the ring clamp could be the culprit as I was able to easily remove the tubing by slightly tugging on it but perhaps it is the tubing as well? My question is what is the purpose of this tubing between pumps? Is this the recirc? and should I change out the tubing and clamps or just give it a shot with the clamps and accessibility is not the greatest.
