Guest Guest_Mike_* Posted September 22, 2005 Report Posted September 22, 2005 WOW! After six wet tests we have finally gotten it down to two (I think). The Hot Springs Envoy or Vita Aurora? We are almost ready to ask the dealers to fill up the exact tubs we are thinking about. One dealer said, "no problem, give me a call". The other said "I'll fill it if you sign, subject to the wet test". Aside from the wet test, what else should I consider? Weight of tub mean anything? Is there any significant differences worth talking about? Thanks, advice please......... Quote
Guest drprwnap Posted September 22, 2005 Report Posted September 22, 2005 The other said "I'll fill it if you sign, subject to the wet test". What the hell is that all about??? I'd RUN away from this dealer. Mine filled up a tub that I ended up buying, with NO strings attached. If this guy is not willing to put water in a tub for you, what kind of service can you expect???? If I would have to guess, this is the Vita dealer???? Quote
Guest spatech (the unreal one) Posted September 22, 2005 Report Posted September 22, 2005 "I'll fill it if you sign, subject to the wet test". I like the fact you've left out which dealer is which to keep the responses honest. If it means you have an ABSOLUTE out based on the wet test results and as long as it's in black and white then I'd be fine with that. Filling a spa and then draining ALL the water and cleaning it back out is a chore and he wants to make sure you're serious. I'd go for it. It's a big decision and you don't want to buy one spa and always wonder if the other was a better option. Quote
Guest Barb Posted September 22, 2005 Report Posted September 22, 2005 I don't like the fact that one dealer put a condition on the wet test. I'd be afraid that would indicate bad customer service in the future. The dealers we visited were more than happy to let us wet test with no strings attached. We ended up buying a Vita (Cabaret), and we LOVE it. Quote
