Roxie1967 Posted May 1, 2022 Report Posted May 1, 2022 I recently set up our new 2021 Saluspa Hollywood hot tub. The LED lights were operating great, cycling thru colors, dimming the colors and staying on colors for a week or so. Then a few days ago it's been staying on "cycling thru colors" mode. Using the remote I can't even turn the lights off. I just bought 2 new batteries and installed them correctly in the remote. I unplugged and replugged from the wall. When I plug it back into wall, the LED lights automatically light up and cycle thru the colors. I push the remote buttons but it has no affect on the LED light strip. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Quote
Laurapal08 Posted May 23, 2022 Report Posted May 23, 2022 Did you find a solution to this? I am having the same issue. Quote
Roxie1967 Posted May 23, 2022 Author Report Posted May 23, 2022 No solution found yet. The LED lights when turned on still rotate thru all the colors continuously. The lights do not recognize the remote. I purchased an identical remote off ebay, but no luck. When we empty the hot tub later on this year we're going to replace the LED lights with another brand of LED, looking at Amazon's selection of rope lights. Quote
Kbeasley Posted July 3, 2022 Report Posted July 3, 2022 Same issue as well...Guess we will just always have a light show 🤷♀️ Quote

What did you look up on eBay for the remote Quote

Ondoid Posted December 7, 2024 Report Posted December 7, 2024 I know this is an old post, but anyone who is still looking, Bestway sells the replacement light strips for the saluspa Hollywood on their website. I think I paid $45 or something. An aftermarket brand would probably work, but the Bestway ones are incredibly sturdy compared to other lights. I had to replace mine because I went from 7 light colors to like 4 a year or so ago. My original remote worked for the new lights. If your remote isn’t detecting the lights, it may be the lights themselves with the sensor in them. There is no process for the remotes to learn a new set of lights either. In fact, my saluspa Hollywood remote changes my Bestway above ground pool lights and vice versa. I’m not 100% certain, but If I had to bet, anyone with this issue it’s probably the light strip itself not detecting the remote rather than the other way around. Quote
Ondoid Posted December 7, 2024 Report Posted December 7, 2024 In case they are not in stock at Bestway, these are the closest I can find to the Bestway ones with the hard plastic that won’t break. https://a.co/d/coih612 Bestway may not currently have them in stock but here’s the SKU number from when I ordered my replacement light LED Strip For Hollywood Spa SKU: P05513 Quote
