exeleon
Hi all, New spa owner here. I noticed today a slow leak (a drop every 30 to 60 seconds) where this tube connects to the pump. I'm assuming there is some seal that is in need of replacement or fitting itself just needs some adjusting, but I'm not sure. My questions are, is it possible to remove this fitting without completely draining the spa? Should there be a seal in there I should be looking for? Any insight on where to start would be appreciated!
CanadianSpaTech
Yes there is an o-ring or a gasket o-ring in there. You can use a flat head screwdriver and a small hammer and gently tap on the nubs to tighten if you don't have an oil filter wrench. I don't see a gate valve plumbed in so you would have to drain the spa to replace the gasket/oring

Hopefully that's just enough to stop the drip. Thanks for the suggestion!
Cusser
Great. I'd get a strap wrench, a curved-jaw oil filter wrench, or a curved Vise-Grip type wrench for future "expeditions".
