Katelynn7170 Posted April 10, 2022 Report Share Posted April 10, 2022 I’ve noticed a blue ring in my hot tub after adding ph+, I wiped it away but it came back and my hot tub was very foamy. I have a bromine tub that I use pucks and granules. The test strip a week ago said very low ph so I added ph+ a couple times to raise it to what I thought was normal. We ended up draining the hot tub and noticed the filter is FULL of blue granules, so much that with rinsing we couldn’t get them all out so we just replaced the filter. We have filled the tub again but are worried what affect the blue granules will have on all the water lines. Should I put a cleaner into the tub like Spa Marvel cleaner and then drain it again and refill again and hope that any remaining blue granules have been removed?
