MCS
We just purchased a 19’ swim spa, and we need to decide whether or not to make it a bromine or just chlorine system at set up in a couple weeks. I am very sensitive to pool chemicals, so we are going to use the Nature 2 system to lower the necessary chlorine levels. My question is whether bromine is still helpful is a swim spa that also has a nature 2 system, or is it another source of irritating chemicals that is not necessary when the minerals are there sanitizing as well? RDspaguy
The minerals are not sanitizers. You must use a chemical sanitizer. I would suggest you peruse our water chemistry section for the many threads on spa frog, nature2, and ozone, as well as bromine and dichlor/bleach. Come back with any questions.
