HLK
My 12 year old Hot Springs Vanguard hot tub has a flashing red power light on the controller. It also has a red light on the ic board that indicates an un-plugged controller. In the past I have replaced the small circulation pump which is now working properly, I replaced the heaters and the heater control board a couple of years ago. I have disconnected and reconnected the LED lights and this did not correct the problem. I have jumped the pressure switch and that didn't make a difference, I have jumped the high limit switch and that didn't work. I bought a new controller and that didn't change anything. I have disconnected the light and jet controller on the inside of the tub and that has had no effect. What the heck am I missing???
RDspaguy
If you bought a new control head, it's probably the board. Not all controls are compatible. Are you sure you got the right one? Verify incoming voltages and wiring, then get a new one. @castletonia, am I missing something?
castletonia
There was an electronic change in the 3rd quarter of 2009. Would need to know what electronics were dealing with first. Just for the heck of it, I would unplug the auxiliary control panel. Sometimes when those go bad they create other problems.
