Njhottub
Hi; I just started up my new hot tub. Once filled and the jet started, a small amount of Antifreeze came out of the jets. It's hot tub non toxic antifreeze Is that an issue?
skyburn
I don't personally know the answer to your question, but I suspect you're fine. Note the advice on starting up a winterized hot tub on this page: https://hottubownerhq.com/can-you-put-antifreeze-in-a-hot-tub/ The suggestion is to shock your tub with extra chlorine/bromine to "neutralize the antifreeze" then drain/refill. But I would think that if it's propylene glycol-based antifreeze and not a lot of it, I would think you're fine as that's food-safe stuff. Hope that helps
RDspaguy
No problem. Gallons of it are in every pool every spring.
