Dream maker crossover spa
I have a dream maker crossover spa, thats a plug and play spa. I have been having problems with it not heating up properly. Had a tech guy come out for $200 and told me the fuse was blown on my circuit board and would need to replace it. When i asked if i could just not replace the fuses he said no , cant get them. But I see them online where I can order them. Will this fix my problem or is the fuse being blown caused by a bigger problem?
cranbiz
Most likely, it's a bigger problem. Buy a couple of fuses and try one. If it blows again, now you need to look further. Does this spa have a heater or is it one that heats from residual pump heat and has the useless red friction heater? When you say not heating properly, is is not heating at all or is it heating slowly? Wouldn't hurt to post up pictures of your board and equipment area so we know exactly what you have.
Dream maker crossover spa
We replaced the heater and sensors thinking that was the problem. The spa heats but not up to temperature. Winter it didnt go higher than 67 and now the weather is cooler at night, its currently at 93 although thermostat is set for
cranbiz
Ok, so it's probably heating from residual heat. Post up pictures of the PC board in the spa pack. Make sure we can see the relays and the dip switches (if any) clearly. Go ahead and order up a couple of fuses and replace the blown fuse.
