E1 error code

Can any one help please? I have a M-spa silver cloud d-sc04 which I bought in mar 2020. It is now displaying E1 error code. I have emptied it, thoroughly cleaned filters and where they fit on. When re-filling to maximum level tge bubbles run for 20 minutes as normal. When pressing filter or heater runs for 1-2 minutes, makes a gurgling noise then switches off and displays E1. Contacted M-spa direct who told me to run it without a filter and should reset itself. Think this has made it worse. Is this a specialist repair or an electrician or plumber? Can anyone advise please before I take it apart and send off to mspa for repair? Thanks
