David Miller
I've got quite the leak here ... I'm tempted to let it drain/dry and wrap it with flex tape, but I know if it doesn't work I'll be worse off than I am now. If anyone has any recommendations I'd greatly appreciate it ... we're really missing our hot tub!
CanadianSpaTech
You have soft plumbing on the left and rigid fitting on the right. Drain the spa and cut the soft plumbing right along the leak. Now you will have a small piece of soft plumbing left sticking out of the rigid fitting. Using a sharp knife cut the soft plumbing back to the rigid fitting making a slit top and bottom then using vice grips or pliers twist the soft plumbing and try to break the glue off the walls inside the fitting that is holding the soft plumbing in place. A heat gun (if careful) or hair dryer could be used to warm the soft plumbing before twisting it out. Then using wet dry PVC primer and glue reattach the soft plumbing into the fitting. If the soft plumbing won't reach back into the fitting then you may have to add a joiner and a smll piece of plumbing but it looks like there should be enough slack to reattach it.
RDspaguy
Just be careful with all that twisting, pulling, and prying that you don't break something else. Sometimes it's better to cut it out and do a handful of glue joints to plumb it back in. Just saying... @CanadianSpaTechhas been at this a looooooooong time and what is easy to him may not be so easy to you.

Cusser
I wouldn't even try Flex Tape for this. I did buy some Flex Tape once, because it claimed it could be applied underwater; I tried it in my own above-ground pool liner. I returned it for refund....
RDspaguy
I have a freeze tub waiting for repairs that the owner used flex seal and tape on. Doomed from the start.

RDspaguy
Whatever. I have to cut it out anyway. No insulation to speak of, so it's an easy fix.
