Merckaert Dimo
Hi everybody, I've got a problem with heating my hottub. I've already changed the heater ( electricity feeling in the water). Also the pressure switch to be sure. But still no heat. And still slighty electricity feeling in fingertops.. I've checked the heater relay board on black spots but that seems ok. No fault code on the topside panel. D17 light is on (main board). Now i bought a new main board but i Think they send me a wrong one. Any opinions? (Pics attached) Hope you guys can help me. Thanks in advance
CanadianSpaTech
If you are getting a low voltage tingle when you touch the water disconnect the main wiring from the pack and see if you still get a tingle. Let us know results. I'm not a Hot Springs guy so I will let others comment on your board issues.

Maybe @castletoniacan comment on the board compatibility.

castletonia
Assuming the electronics are original, the Caldera part number for the control board is 77089. It looks like the replacement didn’t come with the little daughter circuit board that the original has. I can’t tel by the pictures but it looks like the original might have a different configuration on the bottom right? To me it looks like there are connections directly on top of each other.

I checked the box and the circuit board I recieved is a 77087. I told them it was for a caldera Aspire and they send me this one. I check further the main board and see on the transistor a bit rust. Could this be the fault? When the hot tub is on, the transistor makes bit noise. ( video attached). Do this look normal? How can I check that the heater board works fine? Measuring voltage white and black cable from the heater? Thanks in advance!
RDspaguy
Your video is unavailable. There is nothing iron on the board, so it's not rust but may be a problem. If you have voltage to the heater it's fine. It may be fine even if you don't have voltage to the heater, as many things can turn the heater off. Wildlos
I am having a problem somewhat similar. My "temp" light on the controller keeps blinking and water temp is showing at 50 when its about 75 degrees. I cant get anyone to figure this one out for me? Anyone got suggestions or advice?
