Please help identifying this part and advice on stopping it from leaking.

I have a leak coming from my fountain control knob.  Leaking from topside and from bottom inside cabinet.  I was wondering if anyone knew what the part was called so I can order a new one and/ or how to go about fixing it.  I don’t think is the o-rings,  it seems to leaking under the clear plastic bezel.  It on leaks while the pump is running.  It’s a dynasty leeward hot tub.  Thanks in advance.

When it is running does the water come up around the small square (the post) in the middle of the valve or just below the white threaded cap. There are 2 o-rings on the post under the white cap and 1 o-ring that sits below the cap. Remove the white cap and make sure that there is enough thread sticking up out of the clear part. Post pic. Should have 4/5 threads above the clear part. The plumbing in the cabinet can shrink and it will pull the valve body down into the cabinet so when you tighten the white cap you might not be getting it tight enough to compress the o-ring and it leaks.

Fixed. Thank you!!! It had pulled down enough that only about 1 thread showing and wouldn’t tighten without slipping.  I jacked it up with a block of wood and was able to expose all the threads and tightened it back down.  It seems to be holding tight for now w/o the block of wood.

Put the wood back, or something to help support it. Next time it will strip the threads or crack the cap.
