poolsk66 Posted July 20, 2021 Report Share Posted July 20, 2021 I have a pentair IC 40. Used 3 seasons. I have had it running 80-100% for 12 hours a day for 2.5 months now. My free/total chlorine levels never get above 2 unless I add liquid chlorine. SWG lights are all lit up and green. I’ve cleaned the cell already this season there was minimal buildup. I have a pentair controller so my swg can only be controlled from the controller is what I understand. CYA was tested twice in the past 1.5 months (50 first time, 40 second as I had to drain some water from heavy rain). I have been having to add liquid chlorine (1 gallon once a week). Pool is mostly clear unless my FCl falls below 1. Any ideas what’s going on with my SWG? I feel like it should be producing more chlorine.
