StassB Posted May 26, 2021 Report Share Posted May 26, 2021 I accidentally left my backwash valve open on our sand filter and the pump ran overnight. We woke up to about 12-15 inches of water missing from our large pool. We filled it back up and the motor of the pump is running fine (Thank Goodness!!!), but there is cloudy water being pushed out of the jets now. The area of rock that the backwash hose leads to appears to be lighter than the rest of the surrounding rock. Possibly covered in a milky/white substance. Anyone have any idea what is going on?
