Ph and alkalinity

Recommended Posts

Hi all. So I have an Arctic Spa Onzen hot tub with hard to balance ph and alk. My ph was high which I believe was contributing to a slightly cloudy water. I finally after a lot of ph decreased got my ph is normal range but now my alk is 0.
Will it raise on its own? If I add baking soda it will just boost the ph again and it will continue to be a never ending cycle.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
thanks in advance.

How are you testing the water? Please post a full set of test results . A TA of 0 is unlikely unless the pH is extremely low! High pH will not normally cause cloudy water.

Please post a full set of test results not taken with strips (They are pretty useless for balancing water)
