Dlawson
Hi I was given a leisure bay hot tub and I’m getting it hooked up but the problem is that the pump is leaking water bad so I’m gonna have to replace it. The problem is I don’t know anything about what I’m looking for. Do I need to replace the motor and pump or just have it rebuilt. Do I have to go back with the same name brand pump or just certain information on the new pump such as amps, hp etc? Any help will be greatly appreciated!! Yes. 2 hours ago, Dlawson said: Do I have to go back with the same name brand pump No. 2 hours ago, Dlawson said: or just certain information on the new pump Yes. HP is misleading as there are 2 rating "systems", so to speak. Go by voltage and amp draw, as well as pipe size and single or 2-speed motor. Post some better pics and maybe we can find you one that will work. Or pull it out and take it to a motor shop.

RDspaguy
Sorry, I wasn't clear. What you are showing me is motor info, but I also need to see the wet end to find a match. Get some pics of the WHOLE pump motor assembly including where the pipes connect.
Dlawson
Ok hun I’ll try to get some better pictures tomorrow. I may have to get someone to remove the panel that’s in front of it to get some better pictures.

RDspaguy
https://pool-spa-supplies.com/aqua-flo-flo-master-pump-fmcp-1-0hp-115v-2spd-02610000-1010-2355 It looks like an aqua-flo fmcp but I have never seen one with a threaded port at the pressure side union like that. @CanadianSpaTech, how about you? CanadianSpaTech
no..very odd
RDspaguy
Yeah... I'd say pull it out and get it rebuilt, but you will have to cut that small pipe to do so. Any other pump that I am familiar with would require some creative replumbing as well.
