RonGriffin2
Our inground fiberglass spa has popped out of the ground. We had it fixed once since we moved in 7 years ago and at this point want to remove it and purchase an above ground. My question is if I want to remove the tub, can I cut it out without affecting the rest of the pool operation? We have 4 separate valves for water coming into the pump (spa, vacuum, main and skimmer) and 3 returns (spa, stairs and returns). I am assuming I would also need to re-pipe these to stop water from going to the spa returns and incoming water.

I cannot see any reason why you or a plumber could not close off or bypass such spa.
