Balboa GS100 Not Heating

Hello,

Someone out there can hopefully answer this question.

after the initial heat pulse is handled (i understand that the temp sensors let the system know that the heater is there or posibly the waters flow direction?)

If the heater is then removed (live wire switched off with an external relay)

here comes the question:

will the system fail or give any error massage?

My idea is to allow heating or not by contolling the relay depending on electricity price.

Is there a better way to make the gs100 a kittel smarter?

Here is a second question:

i read an article about an other Balboa spa that communicates with the panel via rs485. Is that true for gs100

Kind regards Erik
