2002vita
Hi all, I have a 2002 Vita spa and my control pane went out. They discontinued the control panel and can’t find a new one. I was wondering if anyone connected a Gecko control system? What’s needed to install it? Does anyone have a Vita parts spa I can buy the control Abel from? RDspaguy
I would use a balboa pack, it's cheaper and better than a gecko. Post a picture of the equipment area and control panel.
CanadianSpaTech
Last Vita I did a swap out for I had to router out the area under the topside display as the Vita Spa topside is very thin and most replacements would be deeper/thickerer pocket. 14 minutes ago, RDspaguy said: it's cheaper Balboa bundle: https://spacare.com/BalboaVS501ControlSystem54217.aspx and you still have to buy pump wires Gecko Y series bundle replacement for Gecko S class packs: https://spacare.com/GECKOIN.YE-5BundledSystemin.k200-2OPTopsideControlBDLYE5K200.aspx One might find it a bit cheaper somewhere else but price is close
RDspaguy
https://www.spadepot.com/Balboa-VS-Spa-Control-Kit-P3185 Best price on balboa vs I have found. I didn't say ALOT cheaper, but I will say alot better. 😉 Plus, balboa is making things right now. Gecko appears to be out of business until further notice. And make sure the supplier actually has it. Many online suppliers are just order points and don't actually stock anything. They will list everything on earth as available, then hassle you about a refund once they put you on backorder.
