RussWilliams
The impeller on my XP2E (Softub) broke at the shaft. I rebuilt the wetend with new impeller, seals and etc. Reinstalled, refilled, fired up and it ran perfectly for about 30 seconds, then stopped. It will not kick back on. It just clicks, sounds like a circuit breaker. So I took it all apart again. Pump spins fine. No melted wires. Nothing smells funny, everything looks right, but it still will not engage. I did notice that there is a copper ground strap coming off of the control box that is not actually grounded, and appears to never have been grounded. But, that's it. Any ideas? RDspaguy
That's not a ground, it's a bonding wire. Does it make a humming or buzzing noise? Are you sure you removed all parts of the old seal before installing the new seal? Did it spin easily by hand before you took it apart again? 3 hours ago, RussWilliams said: impeller, seals and etc. It has one seal, and please define "etc".
