rmcderm313 Posted November 2, 2020 Report Posted November 2, 2020 Hi All, One of the buttons on this topside control (for a wave-lounge) has stopped responding. How do you remove this? I can't see any screws or other fasteners from underneath. Is it just sealed on with an adhesive sealant? Do I pry it off? Use heat? I don't want to break anything if there is a trick. Also, once I get it off are there any serviceable components that I might be able to fix, or is this a replacement job? Thanks, Rob Quote
RDspaguy Posted November 4, 2020 Report Posted November 4, 2020 It's probably a foam gasket. Just pry it up and peel off the leftovers. Nothing fixable in there. 1 Quote
rmcderm313 Posted November 5, 2020 Author Report Posted November 5, 2020 Thanks for the reply. Will the replacement normally come with an adhesive foam gasket to reinstall? If not, what is the recommended adhesive to secure these components? I've always struggled a bit with when to use which level of adhesive vs. just a sealant. -Rob Quote
