Jfw3 Posted October 29, 2020 Report Posted October 29, 2020 I have a J-495. Temp set at and reads 98, but actual temp is 106. Is there an calibration / adjustment I can make without calling a technician to come out? Thanks, Jim. Quote
CanadianSpaTech Posted October 29, 2020 Report Posted October 29, 2020 Anytime you have an issue with the spa always remove the filters and reset the main power. Take the filters out of the equation. Check your filter cycle duration and make sure it is set to filter no more than 2 hours out of 12 or 4 out of 24. Do you know if the spa has a circulation pump for heating and filtering or does it use one on the main pumps? Quote
Jfw3 Posted October 30, 2020 Author Report Posted October 30, 2020 It has a recycling pump for heating and filtering. Thanks for looking into this, by the way! Quote
RDspaguy Posted October 30, 2020 Report Posted October 30, 2020 Sounds like a programming issue, as @CanadianSpaTechsaid, or a stuck relay on the pump or heater. Are there any error codes on the display? Do you have a multimeter? Quote
Jfw3 Posted October 30, 2020 Author Report Posted October 30, 2020 No error codes and I do have a meter. Quote
RDspaguy Posted October 30, 2020 Report Posted October 30, 2020 Great. Post a pic of your circuit board so I know which one you have. You will need to take a resistance reading on each of the sensors with your meter set to 20k ohms. Quote
