C.B.
I have a Hayward series H millivolt pool heater. When I turn the pump on, water starts to seep out onto the floor. When I am facing the heater it is about half way down on the right side of the unit. Anything in particular that I should be suspecting? RDspaguy
Manifold gaskets, pressure switch tube, manifold, bypass valve... kinda need to figure it out. @jimmythegreek, any ideas?
C.B.
Thanks Jimmy. I have no clue what it could be. Time to call someone in I guess.
RDspaguy
If you aren't comfortable taking it apart yourself it is. You can pull the top off to get in there and poke around. It may be something simple, or not.
jack calish
If the leak is coming from the Hot Tubs tank, you'll need to replace the water heater. Why? Because, most likely, sediment (minerals) has built up at the bottom of the tank, corroding the tank's inner lining.
rspar
Corrosion of the heat exchanger where it meets the manifold is likely which generally means new heater. Though there is a chance it's one of the things RDspaguy said you won't know until you take it apart.
