da_guy2
I've got a round Nordic Warrior XL on order and I'm plan a gravel pad for it. Wondering if anyone had any suggestions? Depth, type of gravel to use, etc. I've seen a couple posts talking about building a square frame in the gravel but I'm not sure how that would work with a round tub. Any suggestions? RDspaguy
Don't use gravel. If you must, use a grid or spa pad.
RDspaguy
https://iowatgroupinc.com/handygrid#/diy-concretefree-base-for-hot-tubs Remember, a gravel base is only as good as the ground under it, so compact the substrate.
north_of_boston
Spa Pad. Easiest way to go. Just make sure the ground underneath it is solid, compact, and LEVEL. 8x8 is $498. A round tub will go on a square pad.
