Swim spa on the ground

My wife surprised me by purchasing a large swim spa and having it delivered to our home while I was out of town working. Unfortunately she didn’t do much research and had the crane drop it in our backyard in an area that is covered in bark. It is not on a hard, level surface. I worry that something this heavy needs to be on a concrete pad or some other hard surface. Should I put in a pad or wood deck and move it?

Only if you don't want to destroy it.😉

And you want your pad at least 4" thick, 6" is better, with a good gravel base. Remember, water is 8lb per gallon. How many gallons in your swim spa?

And don't forget wiring and gfci disconnect panel no less than 5 ft no more than 25ft in direct line of sight from the spa.

And, of course, say "thank you" to your wife!😁
