ajfs67
had all pumps running and the flo warning came on followed by a burning smell. Turned off the power and seen this fuse block melted or caught on fire. Can anyone help with the issue? Thank you Albert
RDspaguy
Looks like that fuse should have blown but didn't. That suggests there is another issue. Please provide more information. How long have you had it? Any recent repairs? Any strange noises? Post a better pic of the diagram.
ajfs67
ive had it for 3-4 months, so not too sure about major repairs before me but i did inspect it and everything seems original. i think it was sitting for a long time and never used prior. i did some led lighting repairs recently, added an eclipse ozone generator. im not familiar with sounds my 2 jet pumps were extremely hot when this happened, so hot i could only hold my hand for half a second or so to touch them, not sure if thats normal. i do feel like my one pump isn't as strong as when i first started using it. thank you
RDspaguy
I would suggest that you have the pumps rebuilt, and of course get a new sc-30 fuse. I can't say for sure if that will solve the issue from here, but it sounds like a likely start. @CanadianSpaTech, anything else you can think of? If the wires/fuse/fuse holder are not making great contact, they overheat, and do what was in the picture. Replace the fuse and fuse holder and you will be fine. martin5690
I have already replaced the fuse and holder with brand new one and it did it again.
