What is my filter size?

Recommended Posts

I recently bought a house that came with a hot tub. The tub itself is from 1996 and is a Sunrise 799. The filters are from Pleatco and are threaded.

They say 8 1/4" tall but also 14" tall. What exactly is my size here? I have searched online for anything that looks like this from Pleatco but it doesn't appear to exist anymore.

Thanks for both replies. Based on what you sent me, is it just that Pleatco is the important part? I just don't understand the numbers. The ones you linked me to list different measurements for the one I have, so I just want to understand how to determine whether something will fit or not.

The part number is PSN50. They come in 2 varieties, threaded and keyed. You said yours is threaded so if you get a keyed one you need the adapter.

It is a 50 square ft filter, which can be accomplished with various sizes depending on the number and depth of the pleats (folds) in the filter media. It would be a long google search to find one that meets the same measurements, but a supply store could match it up by comparison or cross-reference different brands.
