LeeW
Hi Guys, we have a Tropic Spa Hot Tub that has worked perfectly for the past 12 months but has recently had an issue with heating. The temperature heats to 90 degrees (32) but will not go any further. We have cleaned the filter, but to no avail. Does anybody know if there is a reset button for the Tub/Heater or any idea what may be causing the problem? Trying to get somebody to come and look at it but thats harder than it should be. Any help gratefully received. Lee
RDspaguy
Post a pic of the equipment area and circuit board. Remove the filter until the problem is solved. Do you own an electrical multimeter?
LeeW
Appreciate your response RDspaguy thank you. Where would i find the circuit board sorry I'm not hugely electrical ! This is what the temp maxes out at.
LeeW
Also, i dont think its the heater as if it drops below 90.86 as its just done because i have the lid open, the heater comes back on and it pushes it back up.......its as if the ceiling max is 90.86 for some odd reason - worked perfectly for 12 months and i cant think of anything obvious that has caused the issue? RDspaguy
Remove the side, usually by the controller you posted, and there should be a box with a bunch of wires going to it. Remove the cover of that box and you will see the circuit board. Your pumps and such should be in that area too.
LeeW
thank you appreciate this - i'll go take another look as there was nothing obvious there but i'll def check again Cheers again
RDspaguy
Don't check. Post pics so we can see what brand of equipment is in there and tell you what to do next. Which will likely be testing sensors so, I ask again, do you have a multimeter?
