TimRac
I have a Jandy Lite 2 heater that is arounf 15 years old. Never had a problem until this season. The display was missing an occaisional LCD pixel. Yesterday, it shut down and none of the buttons would work, I powered it off and on at the switch and now the panel fails to display anything. The control board power light is lit. I tried troubleshooting , there is power from the transformer but no power at the fireman switch when the 2 wires are connected but 24 volts on one leg when disconnected. I thought it was a bad display panel until I tested the voltage at the fireman switch. I don't want to buy a control panel if it 's a bad board. Pool Clown
Voltage at one leg of the firemans switch is normal. Board sends 24~32 V out to the safety switches and if it comes back, Ign can proceed. If you have lost the display, may be the board. Here is an excellent repair facility for that board.
TimRac
I replaced the board, same problem. It turned out to be a bad display.

Thanks for the update. Can you give a little detail on how you concluded that for the next guy (or gal)?
