cadester Posted April 1, 2007 Report Posted April 1, 2007 I've been looking online to no avail as to how to buy the right tub. I have been to several dealers and have narrowed it down between the '07 Sundance Chelsee and the '06 Tiger River Caspian. We largely want to use the tub as a social piece. Is there something better? Which of the two should I go with? Help!!!! Quote

Both of those tubs are good choices as far as manufacturer reliability and reputation for quality. Any other choises in your area? Quote
DecistionTime Posted April 1, 2007 Report Posted April 1, 2007 I just ordered a Jacuzzi J-345 for $6500 (including cover, lift, steps, ozone, chems and delivery). I also looked at the Sundance Chelsee, however, they wanted $1000 more. I liked the jets on the Jacuzzi better, plus it has an extra divertor valve. Both are nice spas. I didn't like the layout of the Tiger River Caspian because I wanted 4 corner seats. Quote
hottub.pool_boy Posted April 2, 2007 Report Posted April 2, 2007 I was in our Caspian at our store tonight. Dropping some items after a home show, felt like taking a soak. Both manuf.'s are great, go with the dealer you like the best. Hope it's the HS dealer, but that doesn't matter. Good luck and hope you're in hot water soooon. Quote

Both good choices how many people are you looking to seat in the hot tub at once. If not more than four adults at a time how about the Hot Springs Sovereign classic series model you should be able to buy one of those for about 6700 w/ all accessories included, or possibly look at the classic Vanguard HS spa for a little more but well worth it about 7500. rubadubdub Posted April 5, 2007 Report Posted April 5, 2007 Can't go wrong either way! I'd buy the Sundance, but i'm biased. Honestly though, Wet test them both and decide from there as to which one better suits your needs! Both are EXCELLENT products which will provide you years of enjoyment! Quote
