Limelight Pulse (2010?) Can't turn off summer mode

Recommended Posts

Hello folks,

Newbie hoping someone can help me out. My wife and I bought a house that came with a Lime Light Pulse Hot Tub. I am guessing its the 2010 model (or close to that year). Certainly the control panel is the same. When I finally got around to looking at the tub in the spring I realized pretty quickly it was not functioning (water leaks from one of the pumps, lots of corrosion etc). I bought replacement pumps for both jets, and for the circulation pump. Also bought a replacement heater (original was also leaking). I then installed all of this onto the hot tub.

No leaks so I figured it was good and in fact the circulation pump and jet pumps work fine. My issue is the heater. It doesn't heat up at all. When going through the menu I notice the "summer mode" is turned on. For some reason I can not turn it off either. I can turn on and off the spa lock etc but not the summer mode. I am guessing this is why I can't get the hot tub to heat up. Is there a way to restore factory default settings? This is my hope for ways to fix it but I am VERY open to any other suggestions as I have hit a wall on this one. Simply turning the hot tub off at the breaker doesn't do it either. Thank you guys for any assistance.

To activate the Summer Mode, simply follow these steps: 1. Set the temperature control to 80°F (26°C). 2. On the control panel, simultaneously press and hold for three seconds Temp Plus and Temp Minus buttons to activate the Summer Timer. The Summer Mode must be deactivated when cooler temperatures return. To do this, simply repeat step 2.

Can you provide the serial number?  I've never heard of that before but if you can provide the serial number so I know what year we are dealing with I can then ask Hot Spring what the options are.

Unfortunately this did not work. Tried several ways and for longer then 3 seconds but it never changed.
