Proably not. You will of course have less suction off of each. This is fine, you only need strong suction from a single port when you vacuum, which is why they usually have individual valves. If no valves, plug off one skimmer when vacuuming.

Also, suction is a matter of flow, so if your filter is dirty, needs service, or is too small to handle a higher flow rate you will lose suction as well.
