Inground vinyl with swim out - concrete cracking?

Recommended Posts

We're pretty close to wrapping up construction on our pool - finally got a chance to get in this afternoon!

We have a vinyl liner with the concrete coping and also a swim out.  Around the swim out, you can kind of see in the pictures, the concrete has cracked on the edges and also doesn't look real great along the inside of the plastic swim out insert that meets the coping.  I understand it's pretty thin concrete in this area, but is this just common and to be expected?  Kind of frustrating with a new pool and have concrete falling off already.

We are doing cool deck in the next couple of weeks, will that help at all?  I hightly doubt it, but thought I would ask the question.

Thanks!
