Murf Posted April 21, 2020 Report Share Posted April 21, 2020 Ok have a older call spa we filled it and turned on breaker The tub said PR the priming waited a couple seconds and then as soon as it got out of priming when the circ pump turned on it popped a breaker so we were trying to figure out what was wrong took the wires from the circ pump and plug them into one of the other ports for one of the other pumps tried it again and the circ pump worked and it didn't pop a breaker so kind of confused now if we start the tub and catch it before the circ pump starts all the other jets work fine and all the other jets work if the circ pump is not plugged in any ideas??? CanadianSpaTech Posted April 22, 2020 Report Share Posted April 22, 2020 Circ pump starts.. pressure/flow switch detects water pressure and allows heater to fire... heater fires trips breaker. Disconnect heater from board and reconnect circ to proper location on board and try again. If the breaker holds replace heater. Ozone can also cause this so if heater is disconnected and still trips breaker disconnect the Ozone next if it has one and try again.
