JWeb Posted July 21, 2019 Report Share Posted July 21, 2019 Using iron out while filling my pool...water was green while filling and while running my regular filter to circulate, water still has a green tinge. Checked pH and it was in the normal range so I just lowered it. Could this be the problem? I have a salt water chlorinator and haven’t kicked it in to chlorinate yet. Do I wait until the water is clear, or will the water clear up while chlorinating? I used iron out last year when the pool had already been chlorinated, following the directions on the bottle, and it worked perfectly. This is the first year I added while the pool was filling.
