franksi745
Hello I have 2004 Hot Springs sovereign ii. The right drain plug is leaking, under the filter department. I just need to know how I can replace it? I can't seem to get access to it thru the service panel. Is there another way to access it if I remove another panel? There are two drain plugs on the bottom of the spa, the one that is right under the filter area. I will try to post pictures up soon. Any hep would be great. Cusser
Well, we need to know if this is a pipe thread drain (which seals through the threads) or a plug that seals with a rubber seal or O-ring. Or is it a hose bib where a garden hose can attach? If so, just get a sealing cap from the hardware store !!
franksi745
Here is a photo of the drain. You can hook up a garden hose to it also. I don't think it is leaking from the sealing cap.
sjanx
I’m having the same exact problem. How was this resolved?
Cusser
If it's truly leaking at the cap, get a new sealing cap, or at least a new sealing washer, at the hardware store. Sealing caps are available in plastic or brass.
RDspaguy
Start your own thread. Include details about your situation and pics of your spa.
