Since I got good advice here during my spa selection process, I thought I'd post about my experience now that my spa has been delivered and installed. We had narrowed our choice down to a Geneva (Caldera) and a Cabaret (Vita). I cannot stress the importance of a wet test enough...it helped us make the final decision, as I did not fit properly into the Caldera's lounger when it was filled with water. For options, we got the light package and misters...while I've seen bad things about the misters, they are essential for us because we live in Florida and our spa is outdoors. The misters keep the bugs from eating us alive at night. They are very easy to hook up to our hose, although we do have to soak them in vinegar frequently because our yucky water plugs them up. We also got a cover lifter, which is a big help. Our dealer has been helpful in answering our questions and guiding us through the chemical process...we use Spa 56 after each use and Defender once a week, and it keeps the water crystal clear. We are in our spa at least once a day and LOVE it! It's one of the best investments we ever made.
