Upgrading to a Hayward SP2303VSP VSP, SWG, and changing our filters backwash only valve to a multiport valve. The SWG is an AquaRite AQR9. Both pump and SWG will run off 220V. The manual for pump says to write directly to breaker, the SWG manual says it has to be on same timer as the pump. Is it bad to also direct wire the SWG, as I will no longer be using the timer?
