jh259
My Hot Spring tub developed a leak in the moto massage jet. and the foam insulation is soaked inside. Ive torn a decent amount of it out while locating the leak, but will the rest that remains eventually dry? Is there any recommended way to deal with this? Currently I have two sides open and a fan blowing inside the tub. I live in relatively warm weather. My current plan is to let it sit for a few days and see what happens. castletonia
To the best of my knowledge, once the foam absorbs moisture it loses its insulating capabilities. I’m sure it will eventually dry, but anytime my company does an in-foam repair and there is wet insulation, we remove the wet insulation and replace it.
