Jedeka
I have a buddy with a Model LX15. Circuit board burnt up, so new 6600-288 circuit board and chip were installed. I looked at the wiring schematic and all is wired up correctly. The two-speed pump works when the button on the control panel is pushed. The single speed pump will not turn on, except once a day for 15-20 seconds. We are thinking this is a programmed cycle for anti-freeze mode or filter mode. I can jump the two wires to the hot wires coming from the fuse box and pump will turn on. There is no voltage at the spade terminals, where the black and white pump motors connect to the circuit board. Looking at the two-speed pump, there is a red, black and white wire that come from the pump and attach to spade terminals on the circuit board. These three wires have 120v at the spade terminals all the time. The control panel has a red light that comes on, when you push the button to turn on the single speed pump. I did a search on the 6600-288 circuit board. There is an updated part number that the old number subs up to. Does this problem seem like a circuit board issue, or do I need to be looking at something else? Thanks.
