Sunshine10 Posted September 24, 2018 Report Share Posted September 24, 2018 I walked out last night and noticed the Hot tub kinda smelled a little moldy and was very slightly cloudy. Husband and his friend in the tub did not notice. Today I took water to be tested and ph and alkaline were fine, but No chlorine was found. There is an ozonator...but I am worried someone may get some sort of reaction or Pseudomonas aeruginosa...any idea of the chances:/? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Jersey Hot Tub Repair Posted September 29, 2018 Report Share Posted September 29, 2018 Yes, if you're getting in a pool of warm mold, I'd say there's a chance you can get infected by it. Ozonators loose their effectiveness as they age. Maybe yours is due for replacement.
