Jim Mcgee
After refilling my hot tub, heater isn’t getting hot, only Luke warm. I have 240 v and 15 ohms at heater. It has good circulation and no air locks. The heater is about 12 years old. My question is, is the heater still defective even though it has good resistance? It is a Hot Springs tub with a no fault 6000 heater. Thank you for any help. Also circuit board was replaced last year.
Hot Spring Official
Heater relays could be not allowing current to flow. Could also be the pressure switch. Are the power and ready lights flashing? that is the pressure switch.
Jim Mcgee
I replaced the relay board last year. No flashing lights. It has 240 volts going into heater and 15.8 ohms. The heater is working, just not getting hot, only warm water coming out at the water outlet. Thank you for your reply.
