Wcabler
Okay I need some help on this one. I have purchased a 2001 hot springs jet setter J still wired as a 115v. I have replaced both boards and the heating element. Everything seems to be working but the pump. We’ve tested and when you turn the power on the jets get around 115-120v as it should but never turn on. So I straight wired the pump to an extension cord and bam it kicked on and ran wide open as good as you could ask. Is there a possibility that the control board has once again went bad even though there is no burning or scarring? Any help is appreciated! Cmobley
I am having the same issue with a 2008 Prodigy, I replaced the jet pump because the old pump was froze up, but I can't get the new one to run, connect to an extension cord and it runs perfectly fine, reconnect it to the circuit board and nada. Question for ya, where are you measuring the 115v when you turn the jets on? You need to verify that voltage is across hot to nuetral, (black to white) not just hot to ground. With that said, i'm still not sure what else is keeping the pump from running.
Hot Spring Official
You should have an electrician or the HotSpring dealer verify the wiring to the board and check the board to make sure proper power is available to the pump.
