Lasvegasbuilder
Good afternoon. I am looking for some ADVICE. I have an in-ground gunite pool that is approximately 30 years old. I am trying to replace the light fixtures. I have disconnected the wires at the source of power and removed fro the niche. However, I cannot get the light / wire to pull out at all! I checked and there is no epoxy or putty at the pool end of the wires. Poured liquid soap into the conduit but it will not pull out. Any ideas? Thanks in advance! bertina
you need to purchase the correct replacement pool light bulb and lens gasket for your fixture.for all pool lights not one standard replacement bulb thawould be too easy. And make your pool light.
Pool Clown
If you can get a friend to help you, you may be able to get the cord to move if one of you pushed while the other pulled. Yes, one of you will have to get into the water! You may also try the advice of the previous poster and see if you can get away with just replacing the bulb and gasket. Note: if you are going to go this route, you MUST replace the gasket or it WILL leak. If you replace the gasket and it still leaks, then that is proof that the fixture has failed and needs to be replaced.
