al0311 Posted May 20, 2018 Report Share Posted May 20, 2018 hi guys got a question and an issue with my pool filter pump. first thing is when i turn the pump on the water in the skimmer basket that i primed it with sucks right up the line into the filter, and the pump will have no water in the skimmer basket? the other problem i have is that the pump is not pulling water in as much as before. actually, its not pulling much not even filling the basket or bring pressure up the gauge? could these two issues be related? I was thinking either i have an air leak somewhere in the suction line or the check valve that i installed is clooged and not opening. Only problem is the check valve is not one i can take apart its not clear so i can't see in it so only way to be sure is to cut it out.
