JCM
Hi i have a 2004 Jacuzzi J-375 that’s tripping the GFCI. After unplugging all the equipment from the pack I’ve found that it’s the circulation pump that appears to be the culprit. I did also try having only the heater disconnected but that did not trip the breaker, only with the pump off did it not pop. Just wondering if it’s as simple as that I I just need to replace that one part? Or should I be ruling out switches? At one point during the process I unplugged one piece of equipment at a time and when the sensor clip was disconnected it also did not trip. since this my first time with any issues I want to just be sure thanks in advance
Jersey Hot Tub Repair
Sounds like you're on the right track. If the breaker trips with the pump connected, and doesn't trip with the pump disconnected, sounds like you found the culprit. If it's the original circ pump, you've gotten more than your money's worth out of it. Those little pumps rarely last longer than 6-7 years.
